The concierge at our Hilton Grand Vacation Club recommend Grand Cypress. We were greeted at the pro shop by friendly and most helpful staff. We were directed to pickup our cart and rental clubs outside. The staff outside were so great and even had balls and tees for us.
We played the "New Course". Very well maintained and during play we were checked on by Ed, who stopped by to make sure we were having a great time and asked if we needed anything. We were also visited by the beverage and snacks cart. Outstanding selections and prices. We finished up and hit the clubhouse. Wow what an awesome place. Just beautify kept place. We had such a great experience that we will definitely golf here again next year.

I was... read more somewhat familiar with Fred from the Golf Channel as well as his book "Swing Like a Pro." I liked his teaching and his concepts because they are based on facts and science, not opinions. Fred has such a great demeanor and can explain swing thoughts and concepts in multiple ways to make sure they are understood. He is not overly technical and does not get bogged down in jargon. He sees the swing as an athletic move and wants you to learn to "dance with the club." I learned an overwhelming amount over the course of 3 days about all aspects of the game. I was immediately able to see improvements. He also gives you great tools and notes and a workbook to take home with you so you can keep improving. With those notes, workbook and the Swing Like a Pro book you will easily be able to reference and refresh learning on any aspect of the swing or game. Fred is just an outstanding person and teacher. I have so much respect for him and his approach. If you are looking to improve and have fun in a world class facility then look no further than Grand Cypress Academy of Golf. The villa accommodations are tremendous. Very comfortable and spacious. The food is also great and the service is second to none. I am already looking forward to going back next year.
